Nohea Gallery

Nohea Gallery and the Honolulu Woodturners Club have put together an exhibit of wood turnings to display some of the local turning talent and as a means of contributing to the Aloha United Way campaign. Over fourteen local turners have contributed pieces to the exhibition. The bowls, as well as other woodturnings by Hawaii's artists, will be on display at Nohea Gallery at Ward Warehouse beginning Friday, August 11.

Several turners have donated bowls which will be sold in a silent auction to benefit Aloha United Way. Please Contact Nohea’s, at 596-0074, for more information.

The club, spearheaded by Andy Cole and Sharon Doughtie, will offer turning demonstrations. They plan on setting up three lathes and putting on a bowl turning demonstration. The demonstration is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. thru 7:00 p.m., at Nohea Gallery at Ward Warehouse.
